Kaiser's got a point. I also think that's why the show chose will. Cuz out of all of them he's the most straight up guy there. He won't suck up to you when you are there and then plot to vote you out when you aren't. If he doesn't like you, he'll tell you. He's a punk because he doesn't know how to get his point across without being confrontational. Almost every time someone had a different opinion on the show, he turned it into a hostile argument. He calls himself an activist, and he may be a good one, but it?s hard to know that when you have to deal with the cover of attitude and abrasiveness to get at the positive points underneath.

You don't have to be an a**hole to get people to listen to you. Take for example, Chuck D, he has some great opinions, some that I don't agree with and some that I do. But, I am willing to listen to everything he has to say, because he makes his points in a calm, collective manner, and is willing to listen to your side even though he might not agree with it. He understands that people might have a different opinion than his own, and he understands that in order for people to respect and listen to his opinion, he must respect and listen to theirs. Will "Mega"(or Hiram Ashantee as he is also know, he is a member of the New Black Panther Party which was formed by Khalid Abdul Muhammad, who was kicked out of the Nation of Islam for his racist views and speech) doesn't seem to understand that, or at least on the show he didn't present himself that way.

Yeah the show was boring enough before; worse now.

I'm glad William is gone; he was a prick. He positioned himself deliberatly against the others so he can claim he was the "hated black man." People gave him a chance, he was just so used to having to "keep it real" - or whatever, that right off the bat he was pushing people away.

The other people aren't spineless, they are adapting so that they work in a group. People are social and adapt when in groups so that they can be a productive member of it; William wasn't going to push at bit. He wasn't keeping it real, he was keeping it dumb. He wasn't giving anyone a bit of slack and was exceptionally confrontational just for fun. If you read what cassandra said to him you see that she is much smarter and when she was talking to him he really had nothing intelligent to counter with because she is smarter.

Was the show ever good to begin with? Gawd it was lame. I agree Will might have added a little more excitement in the show, but I believe the way he acted was just to get attention from everyone at home. Kaiser, you call him a player and all that, but he's just a player for the camera. Yeah Big Brother was a game, a competition, jsut like he said. but who the hell in their right mind plays a damn game to lose? What a moron.

I started out liking Will because I thought he was cool, and that he'd represent a positive image of the black male, which you don't see very often in the media. No, I'm not getting on my soap box and preaching how everything is manipulated by the media, yadda yadda yadda, but let's face it, most of the time when you see a black man on the tv or news, he's either going to jail or used for comic relief. You know there's some successful brothers out there.

However, Will dug his own grave. Instead of trying to work with these people he was going to have to live with, he decided he was going to be as stubborn and confrontational as possible. He thought he'd be selling out by actually becoming friends with *gasp* white folks! Come on now, I'm a pretty easy going person, but he got on my last nerve. I'd have voted him off too...but I wouldn't have paid to do it!;-)

seriously though Kaiser, I stopped watching after the first few shows, and only know what's going on because of the summaries at the official site. I didn't like any of the characters, except for maybe Cynthia and Jaime...too boring. I'll stick with the Real World/Road Rules....now that's entertainment!
