Will Microsoft Edge be the game changer in browser market?

After IE being the butt of jokes for years and Chrome ruling over the market with Firefox catching up, will Microsoft Edge be the game changer? Provided that it supports FF and Chrome extensions plus many more features which are missing from current browser right now. What do you think?

Also... these moves have the potential to be real game changers and blow off the doors. Especially consumers stand to win big with increased competition. Users will have the choice to dual-boot Windows 10 on their Android devices and run Android/IOS apps.

Microsoft couldn't afford any longer to ignore this rapidly changing business model and continue back-seat driving. They have finally gotten smart and a decent CEO who knows the smell of coffee. There's still enough time to place their energies into relevant places and use their significant muscle and reserves.

Nope, too late. The train has left the station already. Chrome is destined to dominate the internet, simply because Android is going to eat up windows desktop market share in upcoming years, and chrome is now #2 on Windows itself.

Nope. I already use Chrome on basically everything it will run on to keep my bookmarks synchronized.

I'm not going to hold my breath for the Linux, Mac, or Android version of the Edge browser.

Really for the common person, is there any difference between Chrome, Firefox, and IE. I mean real, common person discernable differences that would sufficiently motivate a commonplace idiot to try another browser? Probably not.
