Will my burner overburn and whats the best program to do it with?

I have an hp 9110i and want to burn Starwars onto a cd just as the AVI file not VCD, its 702megs and I'm planning on useing a 700meg verbatim CD-R

I have a totally different burner, but it is rated at 700 megs. However, I can fit 705-715 on a normal 700 meg CD. Dunno why, just works.

Oh, I use Nero. It seems to work the best for me. Try the free 1X demo.

I use Roxio Easy CD Creator 5.0 It's an excellent program, but when it comes to burner software, nothing expensive or fancy is really necessary in my opinion. All it needs to do is put the darn info on the CD!

already have full versions of cdrwin, nero 5.5 and the newest clonecd, should i set it on a lower speed though? Mine is rated at 8/4/32

I dont' think a lower speed would help any, but if it does set it to 4x. I have a 10X myself and I only record at 4x just cuz I hate losing perfectly good CD-Rs to buffer problems and things that sometimes arrive (as I'm a pathetic Win98 user).

I think you'll be just fine burning the 702mb file onto the disk. CD-R's only cost like a dollar or less a piece (if you get a set with cases or not), so if it doesn't work, you're not really out much anyways....just go get more.

I have a 9110i and it will overburn.
I use Nero and it works fine. I couldn't get it to overburn with the software it comes with
