will my iphone 5s from US, Verizon network, GSM works in india?

Hello,

I have just bought iphone 5s from US, verizon unlocked GSM Phone & will be using in India.
Not sure, whether it will work in India or not ?

Moreover, Verizon provides both GSM & CDMA unlocked network??

What I need to do so that i can use in India as India works for only GSM network.

The iPhone 5s supports:

UMTS/HSPA+/DC-HSDPA (850, 900, 1900, 2100 MHz), GSM/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz).

There are versions that support more/less frequencies

While India's frecuencies are:

GSM 900 MHz, GSM 1800 MHz
UMTS 2100 MHz
TD-LTE 2300 MHz

So, yes, in theory, there should be no issues.

Everything since the iPhone 4s from Verizon works overseas. Before that, it was CMDA only, so didn't work (many) places out of the US.
