Will my neighbor kill me?

He has the same satellite dish as i do and i can't get my pointed right. I was thinking i could put my lagger on his house, climb up to his dish and see what elevation/skew angle he's using. Is this a good idea? What if he comes home and sees me there? He'll probably think i'm trying to steal his dish. I'd just ask but he is never home.

Update: I did it and it worked! DishNetwork kicks ass! The neighbor got home like 5 minutes later - phew that was pretty close!
