Will the EKWB EK-XLC Predator 240 fit a Corsair C70 case?

Once again, I'm planning to build another system. I've gone through two years planning to build two systems -- first with a Haswell-E, then a 4790K system, but never did it. [I really LIKE these old Sandy Bridgers I'm using . . . but it's time to move forward . . . sooner or later, anyway.]

I think the Predator 240 and its big brother were well-received here. I even thought that AigoMorla gave them a plug or two in threads I'd seen.

So I'm wondering whether it will fit a Corsair C70 Vengeance. I've grown tired of "roomy" cases. I want to line up my ducks (ha!) to determine what sort of hoops and hurdles I may face.

While not directly using that particular item, I did a full water cooling build in the C70 a number of years ago. I posted my build log here which shows how things fit and things to consider. I managed to fit 2 x 240mm and a 120mm radiator into the case. I assume you are going to be installing it in the top of the case. You can see in my pictures there's plenty of space up there to mount it. It seems like the 240 you are looking at should fit, at least length wise. Height wise I don't believe you could do a push/pull on it and have it not interfere with some components on the top of your motherboard, depending on which it is.

For a brief period after reading your post, I began to suspect the EKWB Predator was a 280 model and not 240, but it is indeed a 240. But it is so thick that I'd wonder if it would fit inside the case without -- as you say-- interfering with motherboard components or the access to the motherboard.

On the other hand, given the mounting holes shown in the top of the C70, I could imagine that the 280mm H115i might actually fit, but I cannot be sure. I'll review the compatibility tables again if I can find them.

Probably best to start at the web-page for the H115i -- latest Corsair AIO model.

UPDATE: For anyone interested per the C70 case, the Corsair compatibility table shows that the H115i will fit the C70 Vengeance. I suppose I might much rather have had an AIO that was "expandable" to "custom water" like the EKWB Predators.
