Will this case work for this motherboard?

If not, I'd love some recommendations for a cheap case/powersupply <$60 or so if possibly.



( if its of any importance, I will be using a 6600gt with it, 2 drives<cdw/dvd>, and just one harddrive )

Do NOT get a generic PSU. It may be cheaper initially, but you'll pay dearly if it blows up and takes hardware with it.

I wouldn't go with much less than an Antec Sonata ($100; includes an Antec True380 PSU, which will be far better than a 500W generic).

Regardless if its generic or not, will the thing work with that board? Or do these new boards require some new type ?

If it's an ATX compatible board (like virtually everything these days), it will work in an ATX case. Regular ATX cases usually have holes for microATX boards (like yours) as well.

Ah, great! I heard something about 24 pins, 20 pins or something similar to that and was worried I couldn't use a normal psu with it.

You can use a 20-to-24-pin adapter for the PSU as long as your PSU has enough power.
