The performance increase in games from GT 630 to GTX 970 will be huge.

Your GT 630 is slightly better than the integrated graphics from your Core i5-4460.

That's a reasonable GPU for your system, I have one in a similar (Sandy Bridge i5) setup as my gamer. Newegg/EVGA seems to be rebating the SSC version a bit more, you might be able to get one for the same price as the SC version if you don't want to OC the card yourself.

Aside from that, the only thing I would update on your system would be the RAM... swap those 2x2GB sticks out for a single 4GB stick comparable to your other 4GB stick.

I have a 970 very similar to that one. I am a pretty big fan, it puts off less heat than my old 7970 GHz did.

Your GPU link does not actually go to a specific GPU.

I encountered this recently, EVGA's site for some reason hides product links when out of stock and hidden for a while. I don't understand why they run their site like that. Then you have to dig through the support section of their site to find cards that aren't actively listed at the moment (but are on Newegg, Amazon, etc.)

Prices seem high. I would shop newegg, particularly when they have email sales weekly.

Anything more than 970 is a waste for your CPU. Anything less than 970 won't give adequate performance. The sweet spot for you is:

970
290
290X
390

Here you go: http://eu.evga.com/products/prodlist.asp?switch=20

EVGA GTX 970 SC for 295€ including shipping. Delivered from Germany. It's a B-stock refurb with 1 year warranty, basically what this means is there's probably some cosmetic damage to the box, which makes it unsuitable for retail.

Yeah this is what I was originally going to get I just linked the new one because the B-Stock cards dont have an individual link
