Will this support QHD monitor?

Graphics: Nvidia geforce 210

The reason I ask is because the motherboard spec says it only supports up to 1920x1200 resolution? While the graphics spec says it can support QHD so idk what... do they both have to support QHD resolution to work? So complicated it makes my head hurt

Or is there another factor I have to take into consideration?

Your motherboard has an integrated graphics card for basic desktop use without having to use a dedicated GPU. It's maximum supported resolution is 1920x1200.

Since you have a dedicated GPU however, assuming you're plugging your monitor into it, that's the specs you should be looking at.
And yes, the Geforce 210, maxes out at 2560x1600.
Though if you plan on doing anything besides basic desktop use and video watching, you should look at getting a newer GPU.

Thanks a lot, so as long as my monitor is plugged into the Geforce 210 I can use the QHD monitor 60hz? Would there be any chances of the display stuttering or lagging due to it pushing the resolution to max limit of the geforce 210? I guess I should open it up and check because I don't even know which port my monitor is plugged into at the moment lol! I was planning on adding two more sticks of ram to boost my computer from 8 to 16GB, but mainly want to use it for photo editing. I guess I should look into upgrading the graphics later on since it's kind of an old computer anyway haha

I thought I also might as well ask what would be a good upgrade from the Nvidia geforce 210 that can support 1440p smoothly (not gaming, but might watch youtube videos at 1440p if available) in case the 210 can't handle it? I'm looking at the EVGA GT 710 2GB DDR3 64bit single slot on amazon for $40... would this be a good option do you think for a slight upgrade that would support 1440p smoothly?

For video playback Nvidia has what's known as PureVideo, the GT210 uses PureVideo fourth generation. The GT 710 uses PureVideo fifth generation.
The 5th generation adds significant h.264 decode performance, which should help with video playback.

Though it doesn't support h.265 HEVC decoding ability, so if you're watching anything that uses that you'll be relying on software decode performance which just depends on your CPU performance.

Yes, but with a caveat, the GT 1030 (currently anyway) only comes with 2GB of vRAM, netflix 4k playback requires at least 3GB to function. Therefore while it has the newest and cheapest mix of video encode/decode block, it doesn't have the vRAM for netflix 4k playback, making the GTX 1050 3GB on PureVideo 8 the most up to date media GPU at the lowest price.

The GT 1030 is technically better, but with the netflix 4k limitation, I would struggle to suggest it. Unless you know for SURE you'll never need it for 4k streaming.
