Will This Work?

ok well i bought a whole new system...which included a Pentium D 930 and a Asus P5LD2 motherboard....well after long nights i have found out my BIOS needs updateing in order to support this CPU....and the price ot get a new chip from Asus is $20....well i can ship my motherboard back and exchange it for cheaper then that.....so...i have decided to pick a different motherboard....and this is one that is in the same price range as my other and has simmliar specs so what i am wanting to know is will this one FOR SURE support my 930 CPU without a BIOS update?

Can't you do a software BIOS update ??? Takes 10 minutes

i cant do it if i cant get the computer to POST at all..which i cant........and all of my current computers are running 478...and my local guy doesnt have any 775 CPU's...unless i order one in and then he wont take it back after its been opened.

so can anyone anwser the actual question i asked?

If your present ASUS board is better than the gigabyte board it would make sense to me to spend the 20 bucks and get the BIOS chip from ASUS.

well is it really better? i mean the specs are pretty much the same...except its gunna cost me $20-$25 more to keep the Asus board then to ship it back and get the gigabyte.
