it is not possible to even lurn and read safely at work... how much more <unprofessional degenerate can it get...

You sure like to whine. Our AT Overlords will not let that shit exist on the fully working Forum. It's a Beta Test for a reason. Use your head and quit whining.

what a sad day that will be.

I do think that the current theme for vB does cause some headaches...FuseTalk looks nice, has a very streamlined feel...whereas vB looks like forums from 1999.

Once they get a new theme...it'll be fine.

Just needs some customizations...

- Quick reply (default to OP for thread)
- remove 10 character requirement
- Better, more compact skin
- limit the choices for font formatting
- more nests when quoting for context (or maybe a variable option)

It's nice to lose the timewarps and have a working search though.

Ha!

1. The current look for vB is the DEFAULT theme. It can and hopefully will be changed.
2. Avatars and inline images will not ruin your neffing/lurking at work because they can personally be disabled via user control panel or disabled by default board-wide. No need to cry about vB ruining your SFW experience.
3. If vB looks like the wild west right now with weird tagging and frenzy of pics, it's because the forums are minimally moderated for beta. Mods would quickly ban that kind of deliberate abuse of system. The admin asked us to go wild in vB to stress test and discover potential bugs.
Work surfers better hope that pictures are disabled board-wide. I'll show you why: (picture deleted). As you can see, Crono, your post is (picture deleted) and I am correct. And thus, the (picture deleted) will (picture deleted). Neffing/lurking at work will clearly suffer.

But, I need not type that again, just see my sig.

You make it sound like it removes the pics completely, it just turns them into links.

Damnit. Now what can I sarcastically complain about?

Will there be a schism? Are there enough neffers to go around?

Shouldn't one of the forums be the "main" forum and the other relegated to the trashbin of history?

Huh? Um, doesn't it use the same data? I thought it was just a different way of doing pretty much the same thing. Give me a paradigm. I haven't done the VB thing, I'm still using FT. What's going on, someone explain. Is there a page, link, whatever that explains WTF is happening?

oh yeah, and no more time warp...

You know, I think this time warp thing is recent. I never used to notice it. Suddenly, it's all over, like the flu.

I don't think time warps started until about a year ago. They didn't become very prevalent until about 6 months ago.
