the biggest problem with Windows 8 is Windows 7. the vast majority of people are more than satisfied with Win7 and are'nt just gonna throw money @ a needless & yet unproven OS. Win8 was designed for the mobile market, not for desktops. Simple as that.
What I don't get is if Windows 7 was all that amazing, why do we still to this day have plenty of large corporations with Windows XP installed? It's been nearly 3 freaking years. I use this as proof that even if Windows 8 was a businesses' wet dream in terms of features (Metro disappears, performance improvements, tons of business features, Facebook blocker built-in etc...), plus the fact that Vista was perceived as "bad" where as 7 wasn't, they might bother upgrading in 2017 or something.
