Is the gift card something you only can use at Walmart?

Will I? No.
This. COD 4 was IMO one of the best single player campaigns out there. Playing through a 3rd time right now as it's better than some of the garbage that's been released since it's release over a year and a half ago...(including WAW). Too bad because I am occasionally an "opening day" guy (Bioshock, FC2) but I will be no where near this price even though I am excited for it...

I'm quite surprised that many people dislike this game. I'll definately buy it for whatever amount of money it's going to be. If you don't think the Call of Duty series is one of the best first person shooters ever made.. then you're on some serious narcotics.

I may just do this too. I don't normally preorder but I know I'll buy MW2 the moment it's available.Originally posted by: pontifex

Typical of a troll to call someone else a troll.

One of the biggest reasons devs site for moving away from the PC is because of lower profits. A mix of pirating, less user base, and other things can be blamed for it but it's no mystery that there's more money in the consoles. This is just a way to get some more money flowing from the PC crowd. While it costs a bit more initially for each gamer, it could spark more interest in PC gaming again if profits are boosted.
Now a bunch of you cheap fucks boycott the game, they lose even more money, and then another dev moves away from the PC market. You guys are single handedly ruining PC gaming for yourselves. Anybody who bitches about the price are not allowed to bitch about lack of PC support ever again.

I seriously wouldn't mind paying $65 or even $100 for a game, IF it was worth it. In fact, I'd like to see it. I'd love for a developer to set their sites higher and offer something no one else ever has. Prices for games haven't risen in years. I remember Super Mario Brothers 2 having a $50 price tag. It's passed time someone thinks outside the box, brings something new to gamers, even if it means a higher price tag. There's no reason to limit a game's value to $50, just make it a good value, a good game, and people will buy it.
