will you be getting the H1N1 influenza shot?
22 healthy (i think) male here.
Saving it for them would be worthless considering it is your category most at risk.
I haven't decided if I'll be getting that. Regular flu shot I never get, and won't. H1N1 is something I must ponder.
If I'm going to get the bug, I hope it's like... tomorrow. I would rather get it in the beginning of the school quarter than later when it'll be hell to make up lost time.
And if I survive, I'd rather have earned immunity from the live virus. Makes my immune system at least prove it's capable of keeping me alive on its own, thus being worthy of passing on to future kids of my own.
Though my immune system makes me wonder - my sinuses are terrible, and I get either the flu of a sinus infection at least once a year. Had both once, alternated from a sinus infection, turned into flu, and rebounded the sinus infection into full swing. Oh that was a hell-filled 6 weeks.
And yes, I know the difference between the flu and a sinus infection. However, without having been tested, I cannot guarantee it was influenza or some other bug causing flu-like symptoms. I do get those symptoms at least once every other year. And some other little things that make me wonder what state of health my body really is in, but can't say until my body is pushed to the edge I guess.
in short - still undecided about H1N1 vaccine.
