Seems year to year I do better without the shot. Despite what some late-night ATOT regulars might say, I am not a pussy.
I spent the first 18 years of my life in Minnesota. I got almost every germ and bug in the known world shoved into my system on a regular basis. I dont have to worry about too much now. On average I get sick once every two years, and it only lasts a week at a time.
I think I'll just let my immune system do what its supposed to.

Nope. I've never got the flu in 21 years, and haven't had the flu shot since it was mandatory sometime back in elementary school. I don't remember ever getting sick. I've lied about it a few times to get out of school, but all I get is a runny nose or a sore throat for a day.

When it comes to some flu viruses (although it doesn't seem to be the case with novel H1N1), the overreaction of a strong immune system is what will kill you.

i had the flu last year around turkey day, if it happens again ill deal with it and move on or ill die. No biggie either way.
