And from this article, looks like only a couple of stores pulled them in respect to the tragedy. Say the word "pressure cooker" in the Boston area, people are going to think about last Monday.

Anyone who gets offended because they saw a home appliance in a housewares store is a fucking moron, full stop. "I hope I don't see any pressure cookers today or I will literally shit bricks..." Well stay the hell out of Williams Sonoma then asshole! Jesus, people are stupid.

Hope liberals enjoy their food shortages.

We would not want terrorist to get their hands on fertilizer, nails, pressure cookers, ball bearings or remote control toys.

While we are at it, lets go ahead and ban cell phones.

Way to be knee jerk along with these companies and blame liberals. Co-founder of Home Depot is quoted as saying "Obama re-election will cause dispair". Not a fan.

They are just doing this to avoid possible negative publicity.

Now if we can only apply the same logic to a ban on welfare since the terrorist used that as well.

I assume you will volunteer to bury all of the starved to death kids of parents who cannot or will not work enough to feed them?

I assume you support the funding of terrorist that cannot or will not work enough to buy pressure cookers?

Why don't the parents bury them? Too much work also? Or, we can always adopt Jonathan Swift's modest proposal.

Even one of the gods that liberals love to worship all the time has one of the most famous speaches that proclaims the dangers of having fear - Yet they are cuddling fear while giving it a reach-around every week it seems.
LOL The only thing we have to fear is fear itself. Oh, and guns, guns are pretty scary. And pressure cookers. And paying for our own health care. Ooh, birth control too. And the federal government being asked to do with a tiny, tiny fraction less money.

2013: The only thing we DON'T have to fear is fear itself.

When rocks are outlawed, only outlaws will rock!

LMAO +1

As if a bomber is going to buy a $100 pressure cooker from Williams-Sonoma to make a bomb.
Why bargain shop if your plan is to go to Heaven in a blaze of glory/gaggle of virgins?

9/11 taught us that money could be better spent at strip clubs.

So, give me a clue. Are you retarded or just an ass? Or perhaps you want me to just "assume" like you do?

Your "ban welfare" crack did not come off as any kind hyperbole, humor, or slippery slope to me, but as advocacy. A simpleminded solution to a problem whose breadth is beyond your comprehension.

Yep... In addition from the link in the OP:

"Kyle, who asked his last name not to be used, said pressure cookers were taken off the shelves via a company directive because it didn't seem appropriate to sell them in the wake of the marathon bombings, the temporary measure will probably not last for too much longer, Kyle said."

Nothing like a little circle jerk fodder... wind them up and watch them go...

No one has outlawed pressure cookers, fertilizer, nails, or any of the other components of the Boston bombs. And no liberal has advocated such laws, despite your photo of Obama, implying otherwise. The decision to remove pressure cookers from their shelves was a sales decision, not a law, made by the private corporation, the Williams-Sonoma company.

But you knew that, didn't you?

In the past I likely would not have given this a second thought. However in todays age everyone is too afraid of offending someone and it has gotten to be too ok to be offended. There is too much need to 'do something' and 'take action!'

Wow, way to read into it buddy. Funny you attack assumptions and then go on to make plenty of your own. Maybe you are a retarded ass?

Even a gradeschooler understands that comments are intended to be understood.

I expressed my disdain for your comment as I understood it. Since your response offered no alternate explanation, I am left to guess it is not far off of the mark. Your blathering response does nothing to expand, explain, or clarify your position.

In that light, my opinion has not changed.

Have a nicer day than you wished on others.

Liberals and Senators are calling for laws on fireworks and gun powder so you're WAY off base when you say "hasn't advocated such laws".

Guys, you don't have to act like a fetard of ghouls slavering over a decomposing body. Liberals have been scientifically proven to be far more reactive to fear than conservatives. Be happy you don't have a brain defect like they do. I mean. seriously, if you have to wank your dugongs over some imbecile pulling pressure cookers off the shelves? Seriously? Are you so insecure in your views that you need to stoop to this? Relax! We all know that you can't fight science and win and that trying to do so just makes you an imbecile and an ass. Let the liberals try to rationalize this away. We all know they are crazy. What's all the fuss? Why give ourselves an aneurism?

That was already the way it was prior to the incident. And quite frankly gun powder ties all the components together to create the device. I have no issues with control over explosives. Do you cook with gun powder to provide sustenance...no.

I live in MA, since 1987, haven't been able to buy fireworks here since as long as I can remember.

Take it easy, my friend, relax! Focus only on the feeling as you stroke your gun. Don't let thoughts of liberals putting taggants in your sparklers ruin your fun. It's how they win. They are just mind terrorists. Don't succumb to their traitor techniques.
