A pressure cooker can do in 1 hour what takes a slow cooker 6 or 12 hours. The electronically controlled ones go up to pressure, stay there for the time you programmed then shut themselves off so you don't have to monitor them.

I find it insulting that they would do that actually. It was 2 men that killed those people (still shocked only 3 died from the blast) not a pressure cooker. it was just a tool used.

Who cares? It's a pantywaisted move done to appeal to the lowest common denominator. If anyone gets upset over pressure cookers, they should seek counseling, and not subject the rest of us to their neurosis. Catering to their neurosis makes everyone look bad.
