To plug it further then...

Nolo.com is a really good company. Low priced (often free) legal advice, which definitely qualifies as a hot deal. The Texas bar association sued them for "practising law without a license". Anybody that pisses off Texans, and Texan lawyers at that, is okay by me.

I've picked up ten or so books of theirs over the years, and they've all been well written and useful.

I don't work for them. I'm in the process of getting my CFP designation, which means I'm qualified to advise people on wills and estate planning. So calm down, web-boy.

I just graduated from law school about 10 miles from the folks at Nolo Press, and I must agree they are THE place to check out,,whether or no you are being sued,,just scan some of their titles and I'll bet you'll find a subject in which you were interested about its legal issues...

its amazing that so MANY things can be done yourself effectively instead of using a lawyer, and the information NOLO has is invaluable, at the very least just to educate yourself when dealing with an attorney....of course many situations are best served by retaining an attorney...
