since win 10 pro upgrade, having issues with dual monitors. Looking for some guidance. I have 23inch hp monitor connected via DVI-D and Lg tv connected via Hdmi. Have both displays set to show same display. that works fine. But if I turn on tv for netflix or any other input, the HP monitor gets weird. As in, icons get larger and move, gadgets and internet browser increase in size also. once I turn tv off, all goes back to normal. But if I need to restart computer while tv is on(for different input), icons move again and grow large and even if I turn off tv, it doesnt revert back. I have to turn tv off and then restart computer again. things go back to proper size but dont revert to original location.

What is the native resolution of the monitor and the TV? If they are different, the better option would be to extend the desktop rather than clone it. When you clone, you must use the lowest common resolution, which sounds like your TV (is it a 720p TV?). When you extend, you can keep both displays at their native resolution.

both are 1080p. And both are set as such. When TV is set to computer input, monitor does not change. Only when TV is turned on but on any other input does the weird occur. Running Windows 7 ultimate all was fine all the time. Only after win 10 upgrade did symptoms begin.

Ah I understand now, that is weird. What version driver do you have installed? I would still try extending the desktop rather than cloning, if that is what you're currently doing. That is, if you don't mind dragging what you want on the TV over to it.

Tried that, and in that setting the TV always wants to be default. So then monitor becomes the empty extended screen and I can't do anything if I turn TV off. Also if I move things around, it gets changed back while TV and monitor (computer) are power cycled.
