Win2000 NTloader

I am trying to set up my system to triple boot(Win2000,WinMe,RedHat). I dont want to use the win2000 loader that lets me choose which os, I want to use Boot Magic, this is what I have done so far.
loaded Win2000 on my D: partition, Then Loaded my ghosted Image of WinMe on to the C: partition. Loaded BootMagic in WinMe and pointed it to the Win2000 partiion. when I try to select win2000 I get the error NTloader not found. Please Help!

You need to install Win2k last I believe. WinME can't dual boot Win2k.

Don't know about bootmagic but you may want to install it in Win2k.

I'm curious why you even have WinME on your box????

Install 98 on the primary drive. Then install Windows 2000. This will install the Windows boot selector, 98 or 2K. Install Lunix last, best if on seperate hard drive, and when the Linux boot prompt comes up you should be able to type DOS and that will take you to the Windows boot selector.

Thats the only way to do it without a boot managemant softwar which can be very expensive.

I want to use BootMagic as my boot managment software. is there anyway do do it using only bootmagic and not the linux and win2000 bootselectors?

I believe you have to hide partitons in the BootMagic config (before installing the OSes) to get things to work. I've never used it tho. Au naturel is the only way I'll go.

BTW, I am a proud WinME-2K(-and-Linux-and-BeOS-which-is-now-broken) multi-booter.

Dosen't ntldr, boot.ini, ntdetect.com all load onto c: even if you install w2k onto another partition? when you cloned your c: drive you wiped out those files. you may be able to boot w2k again if you replace those files.

I believe Relayer is correct, just boot with your Win2k Disk and pick repair to rewrite those files and go from there.
