How do you get rid of the "log on to this computer" sign that appears when other machines in your workgroup are trying to browse your Win2k machine for file sharing purposes only? And if this can't be done, how do I know what password they should type. I mean, should I enable a guest account, any other account, or something like that? If there's any way to get rid of the box altogether I'd be really grateful, or at least just being able to leave the box blank and click OK for those who wish to browse my files. We're behind a firewall at a university campus, btw, so I'm not extremely concerned about security.
Thx in advance!
Update: Now the password box is gone (after the Guest account was enabled), and visitors can see my files. But they still can't download anything. They only get a "you don't have access to..." message when they try to copy files... But I have enabled read rights in the folders' sharing properties...
