Win2k locked my Trinitron monitor!

Ok, so I am installing Win2k SP4 from scratch on a computer. Everything is working fine until it starts to detect the hardware. The monitor flickered like normal, but this time when it came "back" the language had been set to Japanese and the parental control lock was on. I can get into the menu, and get to the lock/unlock screen but none of the buttons does anything. I am unable to unlock the monitor, and everything else is disabled. I've tried looking for topics, but haven't found a similar problem. Does anybody have any ideas?

It is a Sony 100GS 15" monitor. I know that it is such a whacked out occurrence that I'm completely lost on how to fix it!

Did you try pressing RESET (2nd button on left-side) to put it
back to factory default settings?

Also, there is a Self-Diagnostic mode built-in to the monitor.

Turn the monitor off then on.
Press and hold for 2 seconds the right arrow button.
If you get a display of white, red, green, blue bars the monitor is fine.
If not, there is something internally wrong.

Yeah, if I hold the reset button a little green "key icon" pops up in the lower left hand side of the monitor showing that the option has been locked. I also tried the right arrow button with the video source disconnected...and the four bars appeared.

The monitor itself is "fine". But I would like to rotate and stretch the screen a little bit. But because it's locked I can't.
