Here I got the problem three times! I reinstalled twice but this time I'd like to see if I can recover it without wash out everything on my HD. the problem is:
I was trying use usb to connect pc to digicam. after I plug in usb cable win2k autodetected the digicam and ask for usb drivers to be installed. I thought win2k should have this driver so I just ask pc to auto scan it from win2k CD. It picked one(forgot the filename) and installed it. then ask for rebooting. after restart, I got bluescreen. at the top line it says like "NOT_ACCESSABLE_DEVICE_ERROR" occured and ask me to check my HD for virus or uninstall HD controllers. I tried safemode and no luck. this happened in the very early stage of win2k bootup. everything else is fine because I can still boot into win98 on the same HD.
I don't know in which way I can ever recover it. anyone had this problem before ? thanks!
