I can't seem to figure this one out. No matter what I've done thus far Win7 will not recognize the drivers for this card. This is a fresh install. I have the drivers from the Lenovo website but they're not being seen or recognized by the OS.
So far I've attempted to:
Load the drivers via USB and CDROM
updated (sucessfully) the BIOS on the motherboard
removed the card and plugged the SAS drive into the motherboard which won't work since this is an SAS drive and it will not work w/o the card.
The BIOS sees the card and the HDD but Win7 doesn't want to use any of the drivers I'm supplying. I've looked at one of the inf files in the driver package and it looks like it tries to install to a Windows directory. I think it's why it's failing but am not sure.
I'm a little frustrated to be honest and Lenovo tech support isn't helping me either. Everything they're suggesting I've already attempted. They have an engineer working on it but I haven't heard from them in 2 days.
Any fresh ideas will help.
