Win7 Wireless Stanby Issues

Hi,

Does anyone else have wireless issues in Windows 7, especially when coming out of standby? Did you do anything to help improve this?

I am in a corporate XP network where some users are doing unofficial windows 7 testing. Windows 7 wireless seems to have trouble connecting to wireless networks after coming out of standby. The wireless infrastructure is Aruba if that makes a difference.

I checked out some hits on google, it appears to be a known problem. However, the solutions usually involve dell(what we are using) and driver updates, but we're up to date.
the same laptops work fine with XP loaded on it.

Try to disable the Power Saving of the Wireless card on one computer ans see if it help.

Uncheck the Network Card's Power Saving (I.e., do not let the card save power).
There might be some variations on where the Power saving setting is.
Here are few examples, YMMV, look around in your systems.

Thanks Jack, However I already tried that but it didn't work.

The solution was drivers it turns out. I'm going to be yelling at the PC tech's in a moment. Don't know how they patch every month but have drivers 3 years out of date.
