Well, my brother-in-law dropped off three of these (My own is wrapped for Christmas), and a few things... the "WBOptimize.exe" application that they created to ease up some of the used space works, but it basically just does a few simple things. Also, Avira reported is as a trojan-infected binary, but that is more likely because it is a self-extracting zip file, and they probably used a packer. Ugh. Anyway, it seems like a false positive.
Also, you can get a lot of extra space by grabbing an 8GB USB stick (Recovery Drive) and using an SD card with the tips in
this article.
Still playing with it. I was going to try the HDMI output, but of the 5 monitors I have sitting here in my computer room, the only one with HDMI input is my main system's center monitor. Both 1080p monitors lack hdmi input. I did plug in a powered USB hub to access the flash drive and use my logitech wireless keyboard/trackpad combo while getting these sorted out so my BIL can get one back to my niece and have the other two as gifts for his wife's relatives.
