Window Mod gone bad

I've decided to Mod up one of my cases by putting a window on the side. I couldn't find the right window moulding at homedepot so I brought the closest thing they had. Without it, I can see the horrible job I did cutting the plexi-glass and my case. Now my problem is that the locking strip didn't really work as well as I hoped (I used y shaped storm door bottom replacement inserts).
Does ne1 know where I could find window moulding in NY or online for a fair price? The ones I brought weren't too expensive but have absolutly no use for me now.
Thanks in advance.

one thing to consider.....

instead of molding.... make sure the hole in your case (as in the cuts are nice looking and smooth) looks good and just put a larger piece of plexi/lexan/glass/whatever behind it and affix it to the case with either screws/rivots/glue/tape/velcrow

it gives the mod a "different" look... not too many people do this

i really want to do this to my antec.... i need the right hardware first... my dremel will bite the big one on my antec

i used the method punkrawket mentioned
i hadn't heard of it until now though (i did it because i'm not skillfull enough to cut everything perfect

i colored the cut edge of the metal black with a magic marker so it'd match the case
and i used Plumbers Goop to glue the plexiglass to the back of the panel
worked great, and looks great

I would go with PC MODS . I just got the blue window (server) kit and the blue cold cathod from them ...gossh i've spent so much $$$ at that website and i've only just began modding my case

If you want to cover the cut edge (maybe its not so straight or smooth?) get some tubing, clear will work as well as a color, about 1/8" ID and cut through one side so you can open it and make a long "U". Slip this over the edge of the opening, work it all around, and when you install your plexiglass window, the window will hold it in place. I've used this method around blowhole cuts to dress them up.
YMMV.................

I did it this way inmy antec 1030b. I want a diff. side w/oi the handle though, I want to redesign it. I used a jig saw to cut it, and used chrome door molding to go around the hole. I wish I could have found a longer strip cuz I do not like the seams.

Yeah, just got one of those nice blue server windows myself. It's on sale for $19.99, a great price! And I got the top-case oversized window for just $9.00, also on sale.

I'll tell ya, though - putting that server window in was a BITCH! I finally resorted to tacking the gasket around the cutout with superglue - and THEN I was able to get the window in without the gasket slipping out of place.

It looks great, though!
