He's right. To playback DTS-X you need a proper surround speaker setup, with something capable of decoding the audio.
But.
I don't think that is the question here. First of all, you will not be able to watch any kind of blu-ray in Windows Media Player. Period.
The
only legal way to view (commercial) blu-rays on a Windows PC is with PowerDVD version 12 or higher. There is no way around that. You might as well forget about 4K UVD discs. The requirements are almost impossible to meet.
I would advise getting a standalone blu-ray player. Or a Playstation4/XboxOne. It is much, much easier.
