I have been updating my personal+business computers the last few days. Have tried 5 upgrades. 3 of them were 8.1 -> 10 and they all worked flawlessly. The other 2 machines are 7 and neither will upgrade properly.
One of them has the update ready to go and anytime you tell it to start the progress bar will spin for about 10 minutes and then the window will close and nothing will happen. The last machine did manage to install 10 but nothing worked. It could not connect to a wireless network. I reinstalled the drivers for my access point and still could not get it to work. Over the course of 8-9 reboots I could only even get it to list available networks once and it got stuck trying to connect. Also, if you unplugged a usb device and plugged it back in it would not recognize it until a reboot. Ended up rolling that computer back to 7 and everything worked again.
Very small sample size but wondering if anyone else had issues going from 7 to 10.
