I just bought a Toshiba P875-S7200 notebook. As you are probably aware, computers come pre-loaded with a bunch of crapware that nobody wants. I created a boot thumb drive and when I boot up there are three partitions listed:
System 0 Partition 1: System
System 0 Partition 2: XXX ( I forget what. This is the main diskspace)
System 0 Partition 3: HDDRecovery
1) I'd like to save the recovery partition to use in the future, but if I re-install using the jump drive will it even be usable?
2) Beyond that, if it is usable, can I delete Partition 1 and install the OS on the combined 1/2 partition, saving Partition 3 for use in the future if needed?
I kinda know what I'm doing, kinda don't, and I don't want to mess it up to where I can't recover anything without a totally clean wipe. Thanks for the help.
