It's not a "deal killer" but it is annoying because Nvidia markets the low-power throttling and then it doesn't work. There are a lot of posts here from people who see the throttling work, and then after updating to the newest driver, it stops working.

Nvidia also was blamed for 29% of Vista crashes due to driver issues as well. This may or may not be true, but it definitely was a black-eye for the company as a whole in regards to Vista.

Heh, I had forgotten about that, too, but the "29%" was a figure claimed by MS, wasn't it?

Yeah, I don't know how empirical that number actually was. While 29% is substantial, it definitenly wasn't the only driver issue with Vista. My only bad experience with Vista drivers were printer and acccessory related, but I blame the manufacturer more than MS.

Others have had much more serious issues, but my 64-bit Vista has been very reliable for me.
