I had completely forgotten about that!
It's not a "deal killer" but it is annoying because Nvidia markets the low-power throttling and then it doesn't work. There are a lot of posts here from people who see the throttling work, and then after updating to the newest driver, it stops working.
Nvidia also was blamed for 29% of Vista crashes due to driver issues as well. This may or may not be true, but it definitely was a black-eye for the company as a whole in regards to Vista.
