I have a HTPC running Windows 7 Home Premium x64 and I'm using Windows Media Center to record TV shows. I'm running out of hard drive space on the HTPC and adding more drives or swapping in larger drives isn't an option. But I have another PC running Windows 7 Home Premium x64 that I use as a media server. It holds all my music, DVD and Bluray rips. It has plenty of hard drive space.
Unfortunately WMC won't allow recording to mapped drives or via UNC paths. It will allow recording to another computer via iSCSI however. So I was thinking of using that instead. But while Win 7 Home Premium does come with a iSCSI Initiator built in it doesn't come with a iSCSI Target. And from what I've been able to determine the iSCSI Target Microsoft offers for download is for Windows Server only not for plain old Windows 7. Does anyone know of a (preferably free) iSCSI Taget for Windows 7?
