Hi all,
I recently discovered a network issue on my Windows 7 machine.
It goes like this:
Press the on button, ctrl-alt-del and type username and password, desktop gets available and then the icons in the lower right start to show up. (this can happen on cold boot or restarts)
When the network-connection icon appears it show a blue turning circle.
This can go one for 10 seconds to 3 minutes and then the blue circle changes in a red cross. This is also just a few seconds and then everything turns back to normal. Except for a window above the network-connection icon that shows me that a network is found an connected.
All this time i can browse the web, I can see and browse my local server and other connected computers in my network.
Right-click the network Icon gives me no respond until the icon shows a proper connection.
And I also noticed this a few days ago. Might be there for a longer time but I already did a fresh Windows 7 install, without any success.
I cannot exclude any cause because the problem is not always there.
I also searched the web for solutions/questions and it seems that this problem is a known one but I can't seem to find a proper solution.
I use a cabled network, fixed IP, latest drivers for motherboard and network card. I run Windows 7 pro 64bit.
Anyone with a similar problem or who can lead me in a good direction feel free the guide me.
thanks in advance.
