Ever since Microsoft decided that I should use Windows 10, every attempt at Windows Update has been a problem. Endlessly searching for updates and a regular stream of error messages is now the norm. Even if the updates show up, you have to check every single one to make sure it doesn't take over your computer. Wonder when MS is going to start labeling backdoor system files as "Important Security Updates"?
Today it's Code 80244019 error. According to the helpful information from Microsoft, a computer virus is the most likely reason. Not likely since I just ran Malwarebytes and a system scan with Eset NOD32.
I call BS on MS. It seems Microsoft's business plan is to make anyone who doesn't upgrade to Windows 10 as miserable as possible. Maybe I can't switch over to Windows 10 TODAY, why won't Microsoft allow users to upgrade their systems when it is convenient for them.
Let's see how much time I have to waste today with the Microsoft Corporation. The "free" Windows 10 upgrade is like a "free" gunshot to the head.
