Curious how many people are on the d/l today and how the speed is. My education email said it could be had today. Anyone?

I've been running Win7 RTM for a couple months now. Where have you been?

Today I'll be downloading Visual Studio 10 Beta 2 when I get home though.

Well do not be a prick about it.

The RC was available a couple of months but I when I need it I will not buy one as Newegg has the OEM pretty cheap.

Yeah. I've been running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit courtesy of Microsoft's Launch Party for 3 weeks now. Been great stuff.

We've had it for a while at work. I think a couple of the guys are running it. I'm running Server 2008 R2 on my laptop.

I realize it was available awhile ago... I have just not had the time to take advantage and received the email today so I was just curious. Thanks for the input.

I use software that doesn't even exist yet and I got it in the past that hasn't even passed yet!

My Action Pack subscription had it available at the beginning of September. Been running it for over a month.

I love it on my desktop, but the lack of HP drivers causes lockups on my laptop. I found the device causing the issue (the 5:1 media reader) and disabled it. Otherwise, I'm liking what I see.

waiting for a good deal on Windows 7 Ultimate x64.
I have Vista Ultimate 64 from the Ultimate Steal student offer. Too fresh of an install, with too much customization and a lot of programs installed... do NOT want to start over with a clean install at the moment. I just want Win7. And because of those two wants, I am limited to Win7 Ultimate 64.

ive read on the internet that you can change the registry to trick your version of windows to downgrade (ult to pro, etc). that is what I am planning on doing. Running RC and am getting RTM pro

I'm waiting for tomorrow to see if the student deal will actually open up to Canadian students or not.

It must suck to have the whole domain go down when you close the lid on your laptop.
