Windows and the 'File History' feature

Has anyone here have any useful experience with it? Would you recommend it for someone with a project that they're wanting to implement some kind of version management but has no technical skills to manage such a feature?

I use it, but as a back up tool.

It is not my only back up tool.

It is super convenient in that a person can right click the file and get a list of versions.

But as a version management tool? Pretty weak. Most version management tools allow notes and etc.


For version management, suggest you consider embracing github and git. It is annoying and confusing, but after a while it kind of works. And everyone is using it.
