Windows Domain Question w/ 2 different gateways (not trying to share)

i work from home & have two internet connections. one that my co. pays for and my personal one.
I AM NOT TRYING TO SHARE THESE......or to bond them....bc i know that ? is asked here a lot.

Anyway. My win2k3 server is on 192.168.1.220 gateway (work) as my sql server and my notebook. My personal machine is on 192.168.1.240 gateway (internet #2), but is part of the domain. If I make it part of the default gateway that the 2k3 server is on, I have no problems (192.168.1.220). If I make it on the .240 gateway, then i get this

if i make it part of the .220 gateway i don't have that ah heck at the top. I've not been able to find out anything about it-----i guess i'm just not using the right search terms on google, but i just wondered if anyone had the foggiest idea as to why that's happening

yes, your terminology seems a little confused...nonetheless...ive only seen that "ah heck" when using VNC. Are you remotely connecting to anything via VNC?

Other than that...i have no idea...your mouse icon should not be effected by your internet connection.

The question is the Internet Gateway Connection under internet connections. it's somehow related to having my machine pointing to a separate gateway then my PDC.

And like I said, as soon as I change the gateway back to the same as the PDC (192.168.1.220), the Internet Gateway Connection under network connections goes away. I was just trying to figure out why.
