Hey guys,
I'm looking into doing the pc support tech stuff going home to home. I am already doing it little, the word is going around in the hood. Have my little screwdriver kit, solder kit, light so forth for taking stuff apart and puting together. Have Windows 98/XP home and Pro/Windows 2000, got few COA for XP home. Boot floppy from 98, makin a boot cd also.
Anybody experienced has few advises for me on what else is great to have with you when you do home pc tech? Most of the people usually complain about computer being slow...well cleaning up the registry and startup with some programs will help. Infamous Blue screen remedies...so forth.
Anything you guys can think of after real life encounters with usual Windows problems. Whether it's old lady with her Win 95 that wants to write e-mail to her children or literature student writing the final paper and XP crashes. I have decent toolls and skills, but would love some cool tips and shortcuts, or maybe link..thanx
