btw, if it is nfr then both the box (certificate of authenticity) and the cd will clearly say NFR. last time i got the windows server 2k3 it clearly said NFR. if it doesn't say that then i think u can sell it.

Merry Christmas to me! I just got one too. What is it exactly? Does it look anything like Windows? What makes it server software?
My copy is in a full retail box and the serial looks totally legit. The only thing that says NFR is the round, yellow sticker on the front of the box that can be removed with a hair dryer. For now, I'm not opening it though. If someone could tell me if the jewel case or cd sleeve inside says NFR, that would be great. I would guess not because it looks like a full retail version.
I too got in on the MS Partner deal (both times actually). The first time that they ran the deal was with the lava lamp and they gave me a full retail box version. The second time was with the baseball, bobblehead doll and chewing gum and that was just a little sleeve without the retail box and it had NFR written all over it. That's why I would think that this Server software is the real deal and not really a NFR copy.

You don't even know what Windows Small Business Server 2003 is?
No clue.. Is it like Windows? I don't work in the computer field, so I have no idea. You don't even know what Windows Small Business Server 2003 is?

If this is like previous "premium" editions, it prolly isn't patchable.
Added, SBE has exchange (mail+other stuff server), sql server and a couple other things embedded, this wouldn't work well for running as a workstation, as the install process automatically installs exchange, sql, etc.
