Outside of each DVD case says "Promotionsal Sample Not for Resale" but the CDs\DVD don't have any markings other than the hologram and the "don't make illegal copies" thing.

Thanks! Is it a paper sleeve or a jewel case? Is it shrink wrapped?

I just compared the NFR box with my dad's retail version, and the stuff inside looks the same to me (aside from the NFR sticker). Am I missing something? I guess we'll keep the NFR one and get rid of the other one. My dad was a little irked they are giving it away, I guess he shelled out a lot of money for this. Hot deal from Microsoft!

Now that I think about it, with these NFR-stamped-but-otherwise-looks-like-retail-boxes going out I wonder if MS is dumping inventory before the end of the year. Maybe they greatly overestimated Server sales for this quarter and just need to get the packages out of their warehouses to clear inventory expense.

I sold it to my brother for $50. I know I could have gotten lots more, but I didn't want to sell it publicly. Plus my brother can really use this software, and he has my last name, so if MS ever questions anything, I'll just say he is part of my business. $50 for absolutely no effort on my part is good enough for me.

Just got mine today. Like everyone said it has NFR stickers on the outside of the box and on the dvd cases. Gonna spend Xmas break see if I can figure out how exchange works...how exciting Thanks MS was an unexpected Xmas gift I can't even find a CoA in mine, not sure if there is normally one in their server package, but theres not a sticker coa like I've had before

Anyone in the Cleveland or Cincinnati area willing to part with their copy for a bunch of stuff? I have a really "NT Die Hard" boss, and I really need this to convince him that going to 2003 Server w/Exchange is the way to go for us and our clients. We're still stuck with NT domains! I have a bunch of stuff I can package together for trade, including a bunch of semi-old PC's (600MHz,800MHz,1GHz), some unused Athlon mobos, hard drives (20, 40GB, etc.), several excellent condition 17" monitors(I use a 21" now), and other stuff. I'd be happy to drive the stuff anywhere within a 30-45 mile radius. Please PM me if you're insterested in a trade.
