Windows wont restart after installation of nForce drivers.

After everytime I install windows and install my nForce system drives, after the computer restart it boots up and goes through this system raid set up and wants to load some stupid raid driver thing to a floppy. I try and say no then it brings me to the A: prompt. I try to go to C: prompt and it says there is no C drive!!! At this point windows only loads up when the CD is in the cd rom. What on earth is going on here. I have reinstalled windows 3 TIMES already! Please help because I need this PC for school.


update: now it sees my hard drive has removable hardware and has the icon in the system tray to safely remove it. Maybe I should say I just bought a new SATA II harddrive. Its my first SATA harddrive. So far I am not having much success with it. I also got a new cpu but that should not be the problem here.

I have no idea what's going on, but change the topic to something that describes your problem, you can put etc in the subtitle/summary box, but we need to see the actual topic in the topic line so the right people can find your thread from the main list.

It sounds like it wants to load the Raid Drivers FROM the floppy drive. You cannot go to C drive as the machine doesn't have the raid drivers installed.

Yep almost sounds like he doesn't have a floppy drive. You can't install the RAID drivers off the C: drive since it is part of the array. Your best bet would be to slipstream the drivers into the Windows XP install disc using nLite.

I dont want raid at all. I dont want anything to do with raid. This install used to work fine before. Now all of a sudden this happens. And it only happens when I install my nforce drivers. I want to disable this raid problem all together.
