Remember that Vista Basic does not have the Aero Glass user interface at all. Is there information on how you can go from Basic to Premium?

EDIT: And strangely enough, there is another rebate for tomorrow, but $10 less.

Did anyone have a chance to load this upgrade? I am curious if they had better luck with the XP Home Upgrade than I have been having with the XP Pro Upgrade. My upgrade goes all the way to end and boots up in Pro and then when I go to reboot it keeps wanting to run Chkdisk on both of my hard drives. Anybody have similar problems?

Yes I got the same Zip on mine too, just the 14 missing three digits it appears? I looked up the PO Box # in Buffalo NY and weeded the Zip down to 9 codes begining in 14XXX. I sent an email to the tech guarantee today here: VistaTechGuarantee@one.microsoft.upgrade.com but I haven't gotten an answer yet. If I get a reply I'll post up.. If you find anything out post it too.

I got Home upgrade and it worked fine. Maybe you did something wrong? I have had a similar problem installing OS before b/c I after it installed I accidentally booted from the CD again rather than the newly installed OS.
