ok i was following one of tweaktowns articles for Reformat to Relax( http://www.tweaktown.com/document.php?dId=324&dType=guide&46812 ) - when i noticed when finishing it - that when i right click on a folder or a drive and watnot it takes a serious amount of time to load- (when i right click to check properties or something)
i thought it could of been one of these because these were the only ones i touched in the registry- but that wasn't the case because i wrote back their original values- however i still experience the same problem
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop]
HungAppTimeout=4000 Delay before a hung application is allowed to terminate (each 1000 = 1 sec)
WaitToKillAppTimeout=4000 Delay before windows finally starts to shutdown (each 1000 = 1 sec)
MenuShowDelay=20 Delay before a menu pops open. (each 1000 = 1 sec)
AutoEndTasks=1 Automatically closes running applications when Windows shuts down.
anybody have any words of wisdom
