There seems to be some concern and frustration in regards to UPS tracking and billing information received. Sunrise Identity, (the shipper for this Microsoft promotion), is using the same procedure to ship a large amount of identical packages that many other other companys use. They are usually presorted by destination before UPS picks them up. A lot of companys have UPS trailers backed up to their loading docks that they load themselves.

There are, however, a few sleazy hardware sellers out there that use the billing information received game as a ploy to jerk their customers around. If you've ever bought parts for your computer, you've probably been jacked around with at least once. That's why Reseller Ratings exists.

Anyway, I've got two XP's that are running 99% bug-free... and it's time to load this new disk and dump Win 98 off of the third one.

Just received my confirmation email that it was shipping, due to arrive 7/01. Ordered on May 25 with a confirmation # of 18-94XX. When I placed the order I used a Hotmail account. I also never received any email confirmation about the original order, this was the first response I ever received.

when i first ordered, they put a temporary transaction against my CC (MBNA), but that eventually cleared an no charge posted. i got a UPS shipping notice the other day in email, but so far, no charge has posted against my CC. anyone else??

has shipped and providing me with a UPS tracking # showing a delivery
date of 7/3. I placed my order Monday June 17, just 10 days ago

Yeah, mine is scheduled for delivery today, but tracking shows "In Transit to Toledo Hub" since Tuesday morning. We'll see when I get home today.
