I just ordered and they charged me $53.10 because of sales tax. I'm in California but I don't know if they charge sales tax for everyone.

My delivery date keeps changing. First I had the 1st of July, and I understand where that would not be correct because that's when UPS got the billing info. Then It changed to the 3rd of JUly. It stayed the 3rd of JUly until today. Today it went to the 2nd of July, which is today, but I know that's not possible because it left salt lake city at 1:00 this morning which is not even half the way here. I called UPS and they were very rude (as usual) and said it would be the 5th of July. I don't mind that, I just wish they would get their crap together. UPS is definitely the most screwed up delivery company out there. I would rather it go by priority mail through the post offfice. I wince every time I find out someone has sent me a package through them. They really suck, at least around there. That's my rant.

This type of erratic behavior is perfectly normal ...I mean this may be XP we're talking about, but it's still Windows® ...have you tried closing all windows and re-booting your computer? Are you running Windows® now? LOL

As I'm sitting admiring the bobble head, feeling the quality of the cool XP baseball, contemplating as to when I'm going to rebuild my WIN98 system and install XP Pro, my wife turns to me and says "you mean you had to pay $49 for that stuff, I thought it was free" :disgust:
I start to explain to her that a OEM version of XP Pro would cost 3 times what I paid and I wouldn't get the cool freebies. Instead I quietly said "you're right I'm a moron" and retired to the basement to start backing up the WIN98 system and prepare for the rebuild.

My wife was very quick to point out the fact that I haven't even installed the one with the lava lamp from last year. I told her it was a collectible ...then she pointed out that I have boxes, closets, even entire rooms, the garage and the attic "full of junk". Boy I'm glad I don't have a basement.
