Windows XP problems.

Hey guys,
I'm having issues with my OS. Not sure if it is hardware or software related.
Here is my setup.
1.) intel core 2 duo e6300, stock cooler
2.) p5b deluxe 1004 bios
3.) 2 Gigs of memory --> Corsair CM2x1024-6400C4
3.) XCLIO GREATPOWER X14S4P3 550W ATX12V 550W Power Supply - Retail
4.) Antec P180 case.
These are my main components. My account is setup as administrator. A couple of times my computer hung at the bios splash screen, it wasn't overclocked.

I keep getting messages in my event viewer like this:

Have you run a virus scanner?

I see IPod Service which makes me think that your ITunes or whatever software your using for your IPod is corrupt and you might want to uninstall it, re-download it and then re-install.

well i'm the administrator of this computer so why would i have this problem with wmi namespace? About the ipod service, i've already tried re-installing itunes and quicktime and it keeps doing the samething. Whenever i install software i get errors related to this. Here is another

My event viewer is going wacky. I rebooted the computer and the system event viewer will not show anything and then after i reboot again it shows descriptions like this:

It's funny because sometimes these events come up after a reboot and sometimes it doesn't. I'm thinking about RMAing the motherboard.
