Maybe. Maybe not. It's a pity, though, that Microsoft can't seem to win no matter what they do. Some people feel the same way you do. Others think Microsoft should add things, like pop-up blocking or tabbed browsing, for example. Sometimes people are right, sometimes not. In any event, SP2 will be a much needed boost in security and features. ICF is a perfect example of what MS should continue to update. Many people do not use a 3rd party firewall, especially before they perform the needed software updates to their OS. This minimal protection is certainly better than none.I'd feel a lot better about this if MS stuck to upgrading OS related functions and left component enhancements to 3rd parties. ICF is a perfect example of what I mean.

Finally!
This was the basic point of my first post. For example, people complain that IE doesn't have pop-up blocking integrated. I'd be interested to know how many of these same people that complain IE doesn't have integrated ad blocking were also complaining about IEs integration into Windows. It would be funny (at least to me; I find hypocracy funny) to see how many people are on both sides of the "integration issue" I bring up.Wouldn't the implemented pop-up blocker be another step to monopolization of the industry? What will happen to useful programs like Admuncher? Ofcourse, anyone not using XP can still use them, so it's all good I guess.
I've never been one to argue about the monopolization thing; I just thought of it for some reason...*shrug*
