ive gotten 2 xbox games from there before and it took about 1-1.5 weeks.

those tests were LAME! but hey, xp pro and office xp pro for $30 altogether is a hell of a deal!

I'm assuming most of you are also with the Xbox training program. For a few days last month, I thought I've seen "Midtown Madness 3" in the prize shop, but not ever since. Now I wonder if I read it wrong. Did anyone happen to see "Midtown Madness 3" offered in that pgm? Thanks.

Nope, not applicable to promotional software or NFR ones. (according to terms and conditions)

Also, would it be possible to make this thread sticky and update the subject to reflect that there are a lot more good deals here than just Windows XP Pro. There has been a LOT of good software the last month or so. If we made this into a sticky thread where we can announce when good software hits the Prize Shop, it will make it easier for us to snag those good deals. Especially when Office 2003 hits the site (which seems soon based on the other pieces of the Office suite showing up now).

The funny thing is that I ordered two copies a few weeks ago and they both were not only boxed and without a NFR sticker, but even came in one of those retail blister packs. I wonder if they dropped it down to 1000 points to get rid of all of the OXP copies that are flowing in on RTV when the retail outlets switched to 2003?

If the numbers that showed up when I cut and pasted the software and the points are any indication (I think the paste function was capturing the XML info on the in-stock quantities, or something similar), there were only about 14 copies available when I looked late last night. Shold be more soon, though, or maybe even 2003.

It's 1:27 am, but I'm not sleeping, on the watch for Windows XP for dealseekers...
Finally, it's back but, turns out, I only have 450 points . On top of that, the last training didn't let me do it again - finished with -80 points, but it gave me the certificate anyway. Now you gotta be careful before randomly picking an answer and watching which answer is correct.

Those who have 2500 points, grab it while in stock!

I live in Redmond, so it only takes a few days for it to get to me from their shipping facility in Kent. Elsewhere, I'm not sure. They ship quickly once they have verified employment. Once again, make sure to take all the holiday tests, because they ususally send out a big software set for free in January if you've completed the proper modules. Usually it's just a bunch of games, but a few years back I scored Frontpage 2002 and Encarta Reference Library 2002.

Interesting, Microsoft Plus Digital Media Edition is more off there then you can buy it for on Ebay. Even BestBuy has it on the shelf for $20, off this retail site it's $15 if I recall, somewhat odd since the other software this site has for cheap goes for $200-$400 in stores.

As for time line, it appears the order is "In Process" for about a week, then a shipping link will replace it in the Order Status section.

Woot!!! My three roommates and I just received our final copies of Officei n the mail. All in all between the 4 of us that puts us at 28 copies of Office XP Professional sitting in our closet!!!
