Just read somewhere in ipodlounge that some guy had some trouble with ipod/itunes with SP2 installed.. ouch Uninstalling SP2 fixed it. I hope this is just an isolated case.

Certainly hope that it is not a general case.

Hopefully Microsoft does not go out of its way to screw people over.

Not on the last OfficeXP ones. You have to download the SP1 first BEFORE you can get SP2.

Maybe WinXP will be different then OfficeXP?

installed on a Compaq/HP Evo D510 , 256MB Celeron 1.7Ghz, SP1

it says i don't have any anti-virus software. Symantec NAV 7.6 Corporate Edition is installed/running with current definitions

if it can't detect one of the most popular anti-virus software programs, that seems like a problem

Great, didn't MS make a statement at some point that SPs would not contain any new features? I know it was a while ago but enough of their customers complained about the mixture of features and fixes, I know it really bugs me.

The server must alot of people downloading it. I was downloading it at 86KB/sec and then the d/l stopped.

I just started the download again and now getting it at a stable 176KB/sec. Which is not bad at all since my max download speed is like 185KB/sec.
