WinXP Question

I just recently installed WinXP, and so far I really like it. I do, however, have one minor issue:
I have a 4 speaker setup, and whenever I startup only 2 speakers work. If I go to adjust my adio properties, and go to advanced, I see that I have Quadrophonic Speakers selected. If I click Apply, suddenly all 4 speakers work. It's not that big of a deal, but it is rather annoying to do this everytime I startup. If there is a quick fix for this, great. If not, I'm sure I can tough it out.

Do u have a SB Live! or Audigy? I have a live! with the same problems. Every couple of reboots I need to go back and change the setting. This happens with my roommates computer too and he as an Audigy. I'm really think it's an issue with Creative and XP. There still arne't any great drivers from Creative for XP. I keep hearing about these new drivers XP that are supposed to be available soon but haven't seen them yet.

Just saw in a thread yesterday about new Soundblaster drivers are out. Haven't got them yet to find out if there is any improvements, have no problems now, so I'm a bit leary on it.

You are right. They are now posted on Creative's site. Drivers are dated 7/12/02. Going to grab those when i get home and see what happens.
